OC // OLD AND CONTENT – WITH MEDITATION PLUS

Health icone

The first priority to being old and content is to feel personally responsible for your health.
Physical health is important but mental health is much more important.
Manage your health yourself by the way you decide to eat, drink, exercise, care and live your days, and then cheerfully accept the help of the others (doctor, nurse, social worker, friends, family etc.) as needed.
Accept personal responsibility because your mind can control your the body in so many powerful ways.
With a healthy positive mind, body problems can be either resolved or accepted, with a contentment which is wonderful for all around you.
Your success in managing your mental and physical health will be an inspiration to the memory of you in the ones you leave behind.

“NO-ONE CAN FORCE ME TO BE CONTENT! BUT CAN I REALLY Choose to be content? … with posItive thoughts ON achieving, caring and enduring? … WITH SOME hopes FOR THE FUTURE? CAN I manage my health? HOW? ”

LEARNING REINFORCEMENT - AUDIO TAPE

SUGGESTIONS FOR GETTING THE MOST

OUT OF EACH PART OF THE PROGRAM

1. Take just a morning to study one part only at a time … with a partner or even better with a small group to make discussions even more stimulating. (see Exhibit G).
2. Then (if available) listen and respond to the audio tape without the text.
3. Then talk together about the “General Theme” and the questions that interest YOU. Read only as much of the text as may be helpful. You can always do it later.
4. Listen and respond again to the audio tape with the text. Any difference?
5. Start a daily diary and make a plan to complete all five parts during the next month.
6. After completing all five parts of the program, use the audio tape DAILY for just one week, and again as needed.
7. Repeat this routine again after a month.
Note: So many ideas in this little program have been inspired by:
